Cancellation fund

This is what you can expect from us

We hereby send you the conditions to our Cancellation Fund. It is important for you to know what you are and are not insured for, and also what you can expect from us. That is why we advise you to read the conditions carefully.

Below, you will find some tips and advice.

Would you like to cancel your travel?

Contact the Succes Holidayparcs customer service as soon as possible. Please do so at least within three working days. Are you ill or have you had an accident? Ask the doctor if he believes the trip can go ahead as planned, even when the date of departure is still a long way off.

For quick processing, we ask you to describe the cancellation in a detailed and complete manner. We urge you to keep all original bills, offers, statements or other forms of evidence, as these can be relevant during the claiming process.

1. Contract conditions

1.1 When will your cancellation fund start and end?

The insurance goes into effect immediately after your purchase. You will be insured from the day you take out your policy, not before this date. This means we will only compensate you for damages incurred during the active term of your insurance. Except for when you do not pay your premium in time, in which case you and the other persons on the policy are not insured.

1.1.1 When will we terminate your insurance?

We may terminate your insurance in the following situations:
• If you intentionally deceive us. If we discover that you have not provided us with all information or with incorrect information during the request for insurance or while submitting your claim, we will immediately terminate the insurance.
• If you change the insurance. At that moment, we will evaluate the data in the same way as if you requested a new insurance. This may mean that your premium increases or decreases, but also that we may have to terminate your insurance. If the change has consequences for your insurance, you will receive a written notification from us.

2. Cancellation conditions

2.1 What do we mean when we say ... ?
Cancellation costs: the (partial) travel sum and/or the administration fees associated with the booking to be paid by you wen you cancel your booked travel. The maximum amount for this cost is the amount stated on your invoice.
Serious illness: an illness that will not get cured without direct treatment, and that may have lasting consequences even with treatment.
First-degree family members: your (ex) husband or (ex) wife, or the person you share your residence with and have entered into a registered partnership or cohabitation agreement with, parents*, adoption parents*, foster parents*, stepparents*, parents-in-law*, children*, adoption children*, foster children*, stepchildren*, sons-in-law* and daughters-in-law*.
Second-degree family members: brothers, sisters, grandparents*, grandchildren*, stepbrothers, stepsisters, brothers-in-law* and sisters-in-law*.
Third-degree family members: nephews, nieces (children of brother or sister), uncles*, aunts*, great-grandparents* and great-grandchildren.

Family: the persons living with you at your home and who accompany you on your travel. If you travel alone, we regard you as a family.

Co-insured person: someone who, like you, is insured based on this insurance.
Unused travel days: travel days you have been unable to spend at your destination or at your accommodation due to an unexpected event. Accident: sudden violence from an external source. Any physical injury must be diagnosed by a physician. An accident also includes the following:

• frostbite, drowning, suffocation or sunstroke;

Premium: the amount you have paid for the insurance. This amounts to 6% of the rental sum including discount.

Travel: booked transport and/or stay.
Travel sum: the total amount you have paid for bookings and reservations for transport and accommodation. The costs you make at the destination location are not part of the travel sum. This includes, for instance, entry tickets for museums or attractions and excursions.
