Spacious pitches directly by the water

The camping pitches on Viseiland are generously sized (approximately 100 m²) and are uniquely located, surrounded by water. Depending on your spot, you can enjoy stunning views over the recreational lake or the gentle currents of the IJssel River. You will have plenty of space for your tent, caravan, or camper while soaking in the peaceful surroundings.

Each pitch is equipped with its own water connection and 4-amp electricity (up to 920 watts), so you can use your fridge, lights, or coffee maker without any worries. You can also conveniently park your car at your pitch – making unloading and exploring the area much easier.

Need to use the restroom or take a shower? The clean sanitary building is always nearby, so you’ll never have to walk far for facilities. There’s ample space to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. While the kids play a game on the grass, you can relax with a book or cast your fishing rod right from your pitch. It’s called Viseiland (Fish Island) for a reason – fishing enthusiasts will love it and might even catch something for dinner!

Your four-legged friend doesn’t have to stay home either, as a maximum of two pets are allowed per pitch. This way, the whole family – including your dog – can join the holiday fun.

Facilities for all ages

At De Scherpenhof, there’s never a dull moment. The park offers plenty of facilities for all ages. Take a refreshing dip in the outdoor pool on a sunny day, or swim a few laps in the indoor pool if the weather isn’t cooperating. Kids can burn off energy in the large indoor play paradise, climbing and playing for hours. Meanwhile, you can enjoy a game of bowling or relax with a drink on the terrace.

Not in the mood to cook after a fantastic vacation day? Enjoy a delicious meal at the cozy park restaurant. Prefer to eat by your tent? Grab some fries or a snack from the on-site snack bar and enjoy them together as the sun sets. At Campsite Viseiland, everyone can have a great time!

There’s plenty to do outside the park as well. De Scherpenhof is located in a lively, tourist-friendly area with lots of fun excursions. Visit the nearby Hanseatic city of Deventer, with its historic streets, cozy squares, and charming shops. Stroll through the market, have a drink on a terrace, and experience the warm hospitality of this beautiful city.

Looking for nature? Take a bike ride along the IJssel River or venture into the lush Veluwe for a scenic hike. Other cities and attractions in the area are also waiting to be explored – there’s something for everyone!
