You are staying in an attractive lodge for 6 people, quietly located by the water. The lodge is situated on a spacious plot, allowing you to fully enjoy privacy and a relaxed atmosphere. Here, you can truly unwind and create wonderful memories together.

Stylishly furnished and fully equipped

The lodge features a cozy living room with an open kitchen where you can relax and cook together. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas hob, refrigerator with freezer compartment, combi microwave, and dishwasher. With three bedrooms – including one with a bunk bed – and a bathroom with shower and toilet, there is plenty of space for the whole group. Outside, you can enjoy the terrace with garden furniture and a parasol.

The lodge features a private bicycle shed where mountain bikes or electric bikes can be safely stored. From your lodge, you can also cycle straight into the most beautiful routes through the Drentsche Aa National Park, ideal for nature lovers and active outings.

There is plenty to do at the park for both young and old. You can make use of a swimming pool, a recreational lake, and various sports and play facilities. In addition, there is a restaurant, making your stay even more comfortable and enjoyable.

From the park, you can step straight into the forest, where numerous cycling and walking routes begin, taking you past heathlands, streams, and characteristic Drenthe villages such as Schoonloo and Orvelte. Within a short distance, you will also find special attractions, such as the largest hunebed (dolmen) in the Netherlands and the Hunebed Centre. Whether you choose a relaxing walk, an active bike ride, or a day out in the surrounding area, at De Huynen you will experience nature right from your doorstep.
